課程概述	本課程延續人類學史一的討論，以1970年之後的發展為主軸。我們將先討論結構主義以及其影響。結構主義強調事物的意義在於它所處的結構脈絡之中。結構主義的這種反對歷史與反對主體性的觀點受到了practice theory的挑戰，人類學不僅開始要回到歷史，更對自我的主體性與人的物質性存在(身體、情緒、環境)做出了各種討論。另一方面，由於傳統研究對象的逐漸消失，強調邊界、系統與脈絡的文化概念受到衝擊。這不僅對於人類學的研究方式有了重大的影響，並使得全球化與跨國現象成為人類學中的重要研究對象。
課程目標	.
課程要求	上課由同學分組報告當周指定文章，老師補充提醒；特定主題則以老師講授為主。每篇報告擇精要，必須在20分鐘內完成，並負責帶領討論。下課前提供同學報告之書面資料。全體上課同學應提出閱讀上的問題、交換心得與意見。同學須盡責得閱讀指定閱讀部份，同學可組織讀書會，應有助於理解。
